Third Day of School
So far my classes are good this year. Anatomy is particularly excellent, and highly intriguing. I'm considering now a career perhaps in neuroscience, or even nutrition, based upon my obvious love of biology. I guess I'll just have to wait and see.

Politics
Today in band I got all riled up because my friend started talking about politics. I love her to death, but she and I do not fall on the same side of the spectrum, and I had to remove myself from the situation when some ridiculous kid was like:
"Yeah. What's Obama doing anyway? He's like, visiting concentration camps and stuff in Germany."
And THAT pissed me off. So I pointed my finger at his face and said "It's called international relations, stupid." And then I walked off. The nerve. Seriously. The man hasn't even been in office for a year, and people are already saying he's useless. Obviously they don't read, or actually give enough of a damn to stay informed.
It never ceases to amaze me how many people close to my age whine about things, but do nothing. No wonder we play video games all the time; we're so obsessed with the inability of the individual that we'd rather not even live here, in reality. Maybe that's an enormous leap, but right now I hardly care.
